Public Notice of an Air Pollution
Permit Application Review
Facility Description.
Mastermold LLC, Plant 3- Mauston, 141 Ensch Street,Mauston, Juneau County, Wisconsin, FID 729000030,submitted to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) a permit application, including plans and specifications for constructionand operation of additional SMC compression molding capacity and a conveyorized coating line and associated drying and curing operations. Air pollutionconstruction permit no. 12-SML-117, and permit 729000030-F10, a synthetic minor operation permit.
The Department also proposes to withdraw coverage of the facility by registration permit 729073620-ROPA upon issuance of the permits referenced above.
Application Review.
DNR has made a preliminary determination that the application meets state and federal air pollution control requirements and that the permit should be approved. You can review the permit application, the DNR's analysis and draft permitprepared by the DNR at the Department of Natural Resources Bureau of Air Management Headquarters, Seventh Floor, 101 South Webster Street, Madison, Wisconsin, 53703; West Central Region Air Program, Wisconsin Rapids Area Office, 473 Griffith Avenue,Wisconsin Rapids, WI54494, tel. (715) 421-7840;South Central Region Headquarters,3911 Fish Hatchery Road,Fitchburg, WI 53711, (608) 275-3266; and at the Hatch Public Library, 111 W. State St. Mauston, WI ,or contact Susan Lindem at(608) 273-5606or by e-mail at susan.lindem@wisconsin.gov. This type of proposal normally does not have the potential to cause significant adverse environmental effects and the DNR has not prepared an Environmental Assessment of the proposal. This preliminary determination does not constitute approval from the Air Management Program or any other DNR sections which may also require a review of the project.
Public Comments.
Interested persons wishing to comment on the application or DNR's review of it or wishing to request a public hearing should do so within 30 days of publication of this notice and sendcomments or requests to:
